Dr Anitha runs a blood centre

Donor to recipient, on record

Every donor is screened against real eligibility rules, every unit is barcoded and traceable from collection through separation, testing and crossmatch to the patient it was issued to — and the registers write themselves as she works.

The problem

Sound familiar?

The everyday headaches Saathi360 makes disappear for Blood Bank.

Registers by hand

L-1 to L-9 written up in ledgers, then rebuilt in panic before an inspection.

Units lost to expiry

Component shelf-life tracked on a whiteboard — shortages and wastage both invisible.

Traceability gaps

When a reaction is reported, nobody can reconstruct where that unit came from.

How it works for you

See it in action

Screening you can defend

Age, donation gap, weight, haemoglobin, BP, pulse and temperature are checked before a donor is accepted — and a deferral blocks them until it expires.

  • Clinical eligibility gate
  • Temporary & permanent deferrals
  • Automated donor recalls on WhatsApp

Every unit traceable

Barcode labels from collection through separation, TTI quarantine, grouping and crossmatch to the patient it was issued to — with look-back if a reaction is reported.

  • Component separation & expiry
  • Quarantine until TTI clears
  • Issue, return & look-back
Why it matters

A regulated lifecycle, not a stock list

A blood bank is not inventory software with red labels on it. A unit has to be traced from the donor who gave it, through separation into components with their own shelf lives, through TTI testing that must quarantine it until it clears, through grouping and crossmatch, to the exact patient it was issued to — and back again if a transfusion reaction is reported.

Saathi360 models that lifecycle properly. Donors are screened against real clinical rules and deferrals hold. Units carry barcodes you can scan. Testing gates issue rather than sitting alongside it. Schedule F registers L-1 to L-9 build themselves as you work, the monthly report comes out in eRaktKosh format, and NABH indicators like the crossmatch-to-transfusion ratio and turnaround time are calculated for you.

FAQ

Questions Blood Bank owners ask

Does it maintain the Schedule F registers?+
Yes — registers L-1 to L-9 are built from your day-to-day work as you record donations, separation, testing, crossmatch and issue, and each one can be exported.
Can it produce the monthly eRaktKosh report?+
Yes — the monthly report is generated in eRaktKosh format and can be downloaded as Excel. You submit it on the portal yourself; Saathi360 does not connect to eRaktKosh directly.
How are donors called back?+
Eligible past donors are recalled automatically on WhatsApp once their 90-day gap or their deferral period is over, so you are not rebuilding a call list by hand.
Is a unit blocked until testing is complete?+
Yes — a collected unit stays quarantined and cannot be issued until its TTI results are recorded and cleared.
