Steps
- Open Offers in Digital Marketing and click New Offer. Type the Title customers will see, like Diwali 20% off, and a Description.
- Pick the Offer type: Percentage Discount, or Flat Discount for rupees off each item. Enter the Discount value, the Start date and End date.
- In Take this discount off on bills? pick all items, items in chosen categories or chosen items only.
- Tick At the counter (billing), In your online shop, or both, keep Is active ticked and click Save Offer.
- While it runs, each matching item gets the discount by itself and shows the offer's name. Share the offer in your posts, WhatsApp, email and SMS.
Good to know
If an item already has a bigger discount, its own or a customer group price, the bigger one is used; the two are never added. A discount the cashier types on a line stays as typed.
Only Percentage and Flat offers change prices. With a Coupon code the offer comes off only on bills where the code is entered, at the counter under the bill totals or in the online cart; minimum bill and usage limits are checked then. Services are not discounted.
Active, Upcoming and Expired sort your offers by their dates; On bills on a card shows where it changes prices.
