Add your GST number

Save your GSTIN on the Business Profile so it prints on your invoices.

Steps

  1. Click your name at the top right and choose Business Profile.
  2. In the row of section links at the top, click Legal & Registration.
  3. Type your 15-character GSTIN in Gst number in CAPITAL letters, for example 36ABCDE1234F1Z5.
  4. Click outside the box. A green tick means it is saved. A red message means it is not in GSTIN format and was not saved.

Good to know

Saving your GSTIN does not add GST to your bills. The GST on a job comes from each line's GST %. A labour line left at price 0 takes the GST % of the job's service in Service catalog.
Once saved, your invoices print it as GSTIN. The checklist ticks this step as soon as a GSTIN is saved.
For a business customer, type their GSTIN in GST Number on the customer's form. It prints on their invoice too.
