Steps
- Open Catalog to Add Catalogue Product. Type the Product Name, then pick a Product Category and a Brand Name: type to search, or pick a name Suggested for your business.
- HSN/SAC and GST % fill themselves from the name and the category. Read both and correct them if they do not suit your item.
- Set Low Stock Level: the count at which this product is reported as low.
- Add a Main Image under 500KB if you have one. On your very first product you also pick Choose Image Shape, which then applies to every product.
- Click Save. The product is now listed on Products / Catalogue.
- On the new product switch Available on, then use Add Stock to bring the goods in through a purchase entry, where quantity and selling price are set.

Words used
| Word | Meaning |
|---|---|
| All | Every product in the catalogue. |
| Avail | Products with Available switched on. |
| On Hold | Products with Available off. They are not offered at the POS. |
| SKU | The product code. It is built from brand, category and name, and stays unique inside your business. |
| Low Stock Level | Counted for the whole product, not per batch and not per shop. |
The Product Name need not be unique: two pack sizes or two suppliers of the same item are normal, and each one gets its own SKU. A product that has never been used in a bill can be deleted from Products / Catalogue while Available is off.
