Steps
- Came from on every lead says how they reached you, for example WhatsApp message (messaged your business WhatsApp number) or Website enquiry form (filled the enquiry form on your website).
- Leads arrive by themselves from your website form, your sign-up forms, your WhatsApp number once it is linked, and your Facebook Page and Instagram once they are connected.
- Leads you type in show Added by your team. Imported leads keep the source from your file.
- On Leads, pick a source under From anywhere, or see the mix under Lead sources on the Dashboard.
Good to know
Some older WhatsApp leads show WhatsApp group chat, a group your number is in and not a person, or Number hidden by WhatsApp, a real person whose number WhatsApp keeps private. Reply to those from WhatsApp on your phone.
The digits in a name like WhatsApp 3609 are the end of WhatsApp's id for that chat, not a phone number.
