Steps
- Keep ready: your number on the WhatsApp Business app (latest version) on your phone, the Facebook login that manages your business's Facebook Page, and a computer.
- In Settings → WhatsApp, under Option 2, click Connect official WhatsApp, then Connect with Facebook and Continue.
- Enter your WhatsApp Business number (India +91) and click Next. Choose the business portfolio that owns your Facebook Page, or Create a Business portfolio (no WhatsApp or Facebook in the name).
- If a QR code appears: on the phone open the WhatsApp Business app → Settings → Account → Business Platform, scan it and tap Share for chat history. Connecting again later usually skips this step.
- Click Confirm and Finish. Saathi360 shows Connected with your number and sends your message templates to Meta for approval.
- Open Manage messages & templates. The Official WhatsApp setup checklist shows what is left, such as the payment card, with a button that opens the right page in Meta.
Good to know
If Facebook says "You do not have the permissions to view this asset", the Facebook login you used is not an admin of the business that owns this number: log in with one that is and start again. If Saathi360 later says Meta has disconnected your number, open WhatsApp Business on the phone → Settings → Account → Business Platform. If it shows Connect, click Disconnect in Settings → WhatsApp, then Connect official WhatsApp again and scan the QR code. If Saathi360 says Meta set it up without your WhatsApp Business app, nothing was connected: click Connect official WhatsApp again and choose to connect your existing WhatsApp Business app. The setup list also shows your message quality (high, medium or low): if it drops, send only to customers who expect your messages.
