Steps
- Open Reports & Compliance → Report Centre → Accounting Core → Bank Reconciliation, then click Upload Statement.
- Drop in the statement file from your bank (CSV, XLS or XLSX, up to 10 MB) and click Next: Map Columns.
- Pick the Bank Account this statement is for and your bank's preset (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, Generic or Custom). Check the columns and Date Format, enter the Closing Balance and click Import.
- Click Run Auto-Match. It pairs statement lines with entries in your books by amount, then by reference, date or narration.
- Click Go to Review. On the Unmatched tab, for each line either find and match an entry, create a new ledger entry (for example bank charges), or ignore it.
- Open BRS Report to see the result and click Finalize when everything is sorted.

Words used
| Word | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Uploaded | Statement imported; auto-match has not run yet. |
| In Review | Auto-match has run; finish the rest on Review. |
| Reconciled | Finalized and locked. |
| Auto / Manual | A line matched by auto-match, or matched by you. |
| New Entry | You created a ledger entry for this line. |
| Ignored / Unmatched | Left out of the reconciliation / still needs attention. |
Auto-match looks only at entries in the bank account you picked. Money recorded against a bank you added in MoneyHub is in that bank's own account. Older entries may be in Bank (older shared account): if many lines stay unmatched, upload the statement again for that account. Only the owner and staff given Bank Accounts in HRM → Permissions see this page.
